Brief facts of Mersing




Mersing is a small town located on the East Coast of Johor, Malaysia and 136 Kilometres North East of Johor Bahru the state capital. Can be access from Republic of Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Kuantan. You can take an express bus from Singapore to Mersing, it takes about 2 hours to complete the journey and six hours from Kuala Lumpur.
This sleepy town has a busy waterfront activities. Along the Mersing river you can see many fishing boats, speed boats and ferries.
Every year, there are thousands of tourists come to Mersing to visit the islands nearby. Most of them are locals, European and Singaporean.



Mersing has many tropical islands that everyone love to see. There are more than 40 islands nearby Mersing. This beautiful island archipelago called "Sri Buat Archipelago" is home to fascinating coral and marine life.
