There are more than 40 tropical islands nearby Mersing. The most popular are Tioman, Rawa, Besar, Tinggi, Aur, Pemanggil and Sibu Island. You can take speed boat or ferry at Mersing jetty to go to those islands. Tioman Island is the largest island. About 51 km from Mersing jetty, Tioman has more than 20 resorts. You can get ferry to Tioman at Mersing jetty. The ferry will cost you RM 35 per person, one way to Tioman and RM 45 for speed boat.
Mersing Island Hopping- This is one day trip to the tropical island nearby Mersing. You can get a boat at Mersing, and will cost you RM 400.00 per boat (max.10 people).
